In apparent harmony the artist cat Laetitia, the old punk dog Lutz, the widowed toad Berger and her foster daughter Gänschen Milenka share the town house of Hase Bernhard. But behind the façade it's an animal-like event: when a mysterious hyena lady of friendly character and unclear origin moves into the second floor Beletage, she triggers a whirlwind of events with her strangely uninhibited manner. The innermost of the tenants turns to the outside. A strange game about wealth, power, recognition and fame takes its tragicomic course, causing facades to crumble and walls to waver. Any resemblance to real existing persons is purely coincidental, but inevitable. . .
