It is the story of the now deceased doctor and cellist Beat Richner and his children's hospitals in Cambodia. Throughout his life, Beat Richner has dedicated himself with enormous personal commitment and many donations to medical aid for the poor and poorest children in Cambodia. The film paints a portrait of the Swiss man, going back to the origins of his idea in the 1970s.
