Long-term unemployed Alexandre has two months to prove to his wife that he can look after their two young children and become financially independent at the same time. The Box, an ultra-hip start-up, wants to hire him on a trial basis. But the indispensable company credo - no children! - and his extremely irritable boss leave Alexandre no choice but to lie.
