Cornelia Montani, Joe Fenner, and Daniel Schneider, three of them, narrating, making music, and playing, trace the eventful life of a Central Swiss doctor's wife from the last century. It is a life in fragile prosperity, marked by privations, disappointments and intrigues on the one hand. On the other hand, there is liberation from social and private constraints, a great love of life and a late, almost unbelievable happiness in love. And all this against the background of the interwar years, the Second World War, the period of the Cold War, the fall of the Berlin Wall and the great hopes that followed.
